In this area you will find lots of affordable accomodation and souvenirs . The mixture different people: backpackers, tourists and Thais makes it a very inter-cultural area. It conveniently located near the Grand Palace area and the Chao Praya river. Walking around in Kaosan area gives the impression that you are at another market because there is soooo much to see and buy.
