It is a common topic for foreigners living in Thailand: the visas and the visa runs. Since November 2006 the Thai government changed implemented a new law to the dissatisfaction of many of us foreigners. The new Law:

Visitors of Thailand can obtain a visa up on arrival three times (30 day visa). After three times the visitors have to exit Thailand for at least 90 days

At the same time it is more difficlt to obtain working visas; especially the English teachers are given a hard time.
