The biggest and most popular souvenir market of Asia. Easy accessible by public transport in Bangkok. BUT very crowded over the weekend.

2 Floating Markets outside the city
Floating markets can be visited in Ratchaburi Province. Interesting to see Thai tradition but consider a two hour drive from Bangkok and back.

Night Bazaar: Suan Lum
Near Lumphini park in the center of Bangkok. Easy accessible by public transport. More relaxed than JJ weekend market (see above) with food, German beer and live performance in open air. Start around 5pm.
