Kaosan Road.. Famous for tourists! a cheap backpacker Valhalla! A mix of cultures! The area is one big market with a huge variety of souvenirs. Besides souvenirs there are, western restaurants, internet cafes, bars, nightlife and all the things you can expect of a developed touristic area… Well, probably even beyond expectations.

My advice for those who look for accomodation. Walk towards the river area it is less crowded .c.q. more comfortable. Booking in advance is not necesarry as there is lots of room avialable.
