Greenpeace, An organisation I ‘ve heard of since I was a young boy, at a time I never heard of Bangkok. They do very good things!

Last week I bumped into the Greenpeace team in Bangkok under the Thaksin Bridge near the ferries. This team told me about Greenpeace’s activities in Thailand and whole South East Asia.

” Your contribution will help us stop toxic industrial wastes in the oceans, global warming from excessive burning of fossil fuels, and unnatural genetic modification on food in Southeast Asia. ”

I looked at the promotion materials I finally decided to become a Greenpeace support for only 250Baht/month. (Something I should have done much earlier)

The Greenpeace Team visit crowded locations in Bangkok (Seacon Square, Thaksin bridge etc.) and they are looking for volunteers, donations and other support. I always wanted to be a supporter but I never had the chance untill last week. How about you??
