Dear Greenpeace supporter,

I’m attaching the latest issue of our supporter newsletter. Inside you’ll find lots of interesting updates from each of our campaign teams.

For example the water team describes their testing of the main rivers in Thailand. The team found high levels of pollution in many of the rivers – to find out which rivers turn to page 7.

We also wanted to update you on our rice project. Recently the Guinness Book of World Records confirmed that Thailand was the number one exporter of rice – something all Thai people can be proud of. Greenpeace aims to ensure our rice remains GMO free. Page 10 and 12 of the newsletter explains how supporters helped create Thailand’s first rice field artwork which will used to highlight our GMO free demands.

As you may know, this year is a turning point in the climate debate when political leaders meet in Copenhagen to discuss the issue. In the lead up to this meeting we will be targeting ASEAN leaders to take a strong stance. On page 9 you can read more about our activity at the recent ASEAN summit.

And as usual the issue is filled with updates of our work from around the world and some useful tips on making your life a little greener.

Click here to read the newsletter.

Thanks again for your continuous support. When we say we couldn’t do any of this without your support that’s exactly what we mean! You are the driving force behind our work.

With many thanks,

Chuchai Monkolvisut
Supporter Services Manager
