The number 1 place to visit is Wat Phra Kaew or Grand Palace. The buildings date back from the 18th century when Bangkok was founded as the capital city. Grand Palace has amazing architecture, the real Thai style. There is also a small museum inside. While you there don’t miss out on the laying Buddha as it is at walking distance from the Grand Palace.
