Overall Impression

It is a theme park. Some people said that it is like a copy of Disney Land, but I think it is much more creative than Disney Land. Designers have much more freedom than those who design Disney Land. Characters in Dream World do not have to follow the Disney guidelines. It is nice to see the characters and let your imagination go.

When you walk into the park, you will first enter a for-photo-purpose area. The theme is “romantic love”. I will call it Romantic Photo Zone. It is a perfect place for just-married couples to take their wedding pictures. At the same time, girls that fancy romantic stories will love it too.

After this you arrive in the main park, where you can play all kinds of games from a funny Giant House to exciting games like rollercoaster. There is also a place called Space Mountain.

There are two live shows in the park. According to the people selling food there, one of them was already over. The remaining one we saw was Hollywood Showtime. But i have to say this is by far not Disneyland quality. The show is not suitable for babies and young children. My baby got scared by the noises and started crying.

However, it was a great experience away from noisy Bangkok. The park was very quiet because we went on a weekday. And the music they play in the park was joyful too.

Ticketing

The ticket is 160 Baht for adults. But you have to pay for every game you want to participate, which costs 30-80 Baht/game. You can also get a ticket that includes all activities except Snow Town for 330 Baht/adult.

Transportation

The park locates at Rangsit, about 70 Baht taxi from Don Muang airport. Taxi from Dream World to Suan Lum Night Bazzard is 170 to 200 Baht, if the traffic is not too bad.

Dinning

The park has standard Thai restaurants, in where you can get cheap Thai food. Price ranges from 45 to 100 Baht/person. There is also a buffet restaurant for tourist groups exclusively. KFC is available in the middle of the park and Subway stands near the entrance.
