How are you? we are fine here in

Thailand.. However our neighboring country

Burma is absolutely not doing well! Have you read the latest news: The Burmese leaders are sending its soldiers to stop the protests!!!! in 1988 they killed 3,000 innocent people.More than 100,000 Burmese people and monks are protesting against the extreme high gas prizes in the country. Gas prize have tripled! Products in

Burma are too expensive and are becoming unaffordable. What can you do? Yes protest:Burma protest Sept-2007BUT the answer to this peaceful protest shouldnot be: Violence! Sending the army would be a ridiculous decision. However that is what is happing.. Senior monks are being stopped, taken away, tear gas is being used, and it is happening while you reading this..The West is just watching (as there is no oil in Burma), Thailand has only 1 airplane ready to pick up Thai nationals.

Communist China, the most important trade partner of Burma, has decided not to interfere either (not even trade sanctions).Read more:Engish: NY-Times – Monks’ Protest Is Challenging Burmese Junta

RANGOON: — Escalating protests in the streets of Yangon claimed an unknown number of casualties Thursday including two foreigners, both of whom were believed to be foreign photo-journalists.

Both foreigners were shot near the Sule Pagoda in downtown Rangoon. The Kyodo news agency of Japan has identified one of the foreign victims as a Japanese photo-journalist.

A Caucasian man was also shot and died as he attempted to pass through a police barrier, a Burmese photo-journalist who witnessed the shooting told Deutsche Presse-Agentur dpa. The Caucasian’s nationality was unknown.
